Is the pentatonic scale of Am Magical? ?

I read somewhere that the pentatonic scale of Am will fit in with any key that is in the scale of C. So does this mean that someone can be playing a song in any key within the scale of C (C, Dm, Em, F, G7, Am, Bmin7b5) and the Am pentatonic scale will fit in with lead guitar?
