What age should babies be able to hold there heads up and sit up on there own?

my daughter is 4 months old today and she cant lift her head up when placed on her belly.also she hates being put on her belly and screams and yells. she can hold her head up when held upwards but i dont think shes anywhere near sittin up on her own.im just a bit worried about when these things are meant to happed
