Can a person fall in love with the Author because the story written resonates who he/she is?

As a writer I write from my own sentiments, logic, and opinion...so, if I read something that uplifts me or moves me, I will immediately feel that this person (the writer) is writing from his wway of thinking and feeling. I have gone gaa gaa over some books and just wanted to find the scribe and do him there and then unabashedly!!!
