Heart Sounds As Though Its Skipping Not Skipping a Beat?

Have you ever seem a child skipping along on a sidewalk?I can hear my heart beat in my hear due to a benign condition .When i hear it ,the sound it makes as though every other beat makes a skipping noise like its playing catch up.Its not missing beats its just makes a weird noise.Its rhythem seems very good and the beats are at about 72 most of the time .I have seen two doctors and a veteran nurse of about 30 years and they all say there is no problem .My heart is strong and lungs clear and there is nothing wrong with my heart.Is this just a normal cardiac sound or am I hearing it wrong or is it just something not right.Please if you arent in the medical field with cardiac knowledge dont answer.Thank you
