Is dollar store concept still strong, how does it compare with beer wine store?

All this depends on your market. What does your community need? Dollar store profit margins are very tight, vs. alcohol margins are much higher. The larger chain-style dollar stores are gaining prominence becasue they can manufacture and import directly vs. using a wholesaler and they also buy in larger ammts. So, I think in most cases the beer and wine store has more potential but you will have to do some market research to be sure. Thanks!
