Is it costly or easy to replace an overhead cam (single or double)?

I have been considering buying a used Infiniti G35 coupe with a dohc. I don't make a terrible amount of money, so low maintenance is preferable for the vehicle. I would be ok with it if it is only a couple hundred to replace every 40-60,000 miles or so. Also, would it be easy enough to replace myself to save money?
