Please help with Kip ups?
I work as a bouncer at a local nightclub in North Carolina. I boxed for 2 years and now I'm learning Kempo by an older co-worker who has been in Coast Guard and learned many martial arts. I'm learning alot of things about my body. I weigh 230Ibs, but you can't tell because I have no stomach (except 1 inch and 1/2 seperating my abs and stomach). I am muscular with a big chest. I have been watching a lot of youtube videos on how to do kip ups and I havent tried yet. The closest that I came to attempting was laying my hands flat on the floor above my shoulders (which is difficult right now). This week, I want to ask my sensei to teach me kip ups. I think it would be cool if I fall down at work and get up by doing kip ups. Have you had any luck with kip ups and if so then please provide healthful tips.
